Use all of the cans of “Gockel’s Duett” to begin with before moving on to the other varieties. Why? As this variety is specially developed for a change in diet and helps to improve the gut flora. For particularly sensitive pets, it is even advised that this variety be used over the course of an entire month.

Is this food suitable for puppies?
Yes, the nutritional values of this meal meet the requirements

Is this food suitable for older dogs
(seniors)?
Yes, the nutritional values of this meal meet the requirements

How long does the food stay fresh?
Once the can has been opened, its contents should be used
within two days, as all our recipes are deliberately made
without preservatives. Storing the food in the refrigerator
helps keep it as fresh as possible. Our practical snap-on lids
are ideal for keeping the smell inside the can and protecting
the product. However, please do not serve the food cold.
Instead, serve it slightly warmed, for example by pouring a
little hot water over it. This not only makes the meal more
appealing to animals but may also make it easier to digest.
Can the product be frozen?
Yes, you can freeze the product, provided you do so immediately
after opening.
What is the calcium-to-phosphorus ratio?
You can find the phosphorus and calcium values under the
analytical constituents in the “Composition” tab. The important
point is that the calcium value should always be higher than
the phosphorus value.
Is the food low in purines?
ANIfit meals are characterised by their high meat content and
therefore also contain purines. The average uric acid value of
ANIfit meals is approximately 80 mg per 100 g. As a low-purine
flake option, we recommend our
Purin-low Flakes.
Why is salt added?
Salt is an important mineral for the body. Adding it is
necessary to ensure that the product contains a sufficient
amount. For example, the blood of prey animals eaten by wolves
contains salt, which the wolves obtain when feeding.
Which animal by-products does ANIfit
use?
The ingredients used in each meal are listed individually in
the list of feed materials. We only use tripe, heart, liver,
chicken gizzards, spleen, carcasses, lungs, gullet and trachea.
